Chevrolet in particular is slashing prices on most of their 2010 inventory to accommodate the release of their 2011 vehicles. Right now customers can receive $3,000 Cash Allowance on a new 2010 Corvette convertible, Corvette Grand Sport Convertible, Grand Sport Coupe, Corvette Coupe 1LT, Corvette Z06, or Corvette ZR1 (excludes Corvette ZR1 1ZR). Aside from cutting prices, Chevrolet is offering a reduction in finance rates. Customers can choose between the cash allowance or 0% finance for up to 60 months on a new 2010 Corvette. Either choice saves the consumer thousands of dollars.
These savings do not take the individual auto dealer’s needs into consideration. Each local dealer has certain vehicles he/she desperately needs to sell in order to get the best and newest merchandise from their particular franchise. So, depending on their sales-to-date, some dealers are reducing the sticker price of certain cars, trucks and SUVs far below manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP).
